The US Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) has released its draft Environmental Assessment (EA) and deadline for public comments is Monday February 7, 2010. The USFWS has scheduled this one public meeting above. Please attend if you are able.

The San Luis Valley Ecosystem Council will sponsor a community-wide strategy meeting on Friday, Jan. 28th from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Baca Grande POA Hall in Crestone to discuss public comment response to the draft Environmental Assessment (EA)* including:
- A general overview of the draft EA
- Most important issues
- Strategies for getting a full Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
