Super Tuesday

Thanks to Initiative 107 passed in 2016, Colorado will hold its first presidential primary election in 20 years on March 3, 2020—Super Tuesday.
Key dates
Feb. 3: Last day for voters who are affiliated with a party to change or withdraw their affiliation in order to vote in a different party’s presidential primary. Also, last day for unaffiliated voters to select a party preference in order to be sent that party’s ballot.
Feb. 10: First day primary ballots can be mailed to voters.
Feb. 24-March 3: Voter services and polling centers must be open for primary election.
March 3: Super Tuesday—Colorado’s first presidential primary since 2000.
Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold has announced that the following candidates will appear on the presidential primary ballot:

Joseph R. Biden – Democratic
Michael R. Bloomberg – Democratic
Cory Booker – Democratic
Pete Buttigieg – Democratic
Julián Castro – Democratic
Roque “Rocky” De La Fuente – Republican
John K. Delaney – Democratic
Tulsi Gabbard – Democratic
Zoltan G. Istvan – Republican
Amy Klobuchar – Democratic
Rita Krichevsky – Democratic
Matthew John Matern – Republican
Deval Patrick – Democratic
Bernie Sanders – Democratic
Tom Steyer – Democratic
Donald J. Trump – Republican
Joe Walsh – Republican
Elizabeth Warren – Democratic
Bill Weld – Republican
Robby Wells – Democratic
Marianne Williamson – Democratic
Andrew Yang – Democratic
Voters affiliated with a major party may only cast ballots for the party with which they are affiliated, while unaffiliated voters may cast a ballot for either party, but must choose one. If an unaffiliated voter marks both the Democratic and Republican ballots, neither will count.
